## What is the EE network like in 2026?

EE won 11 awards in Opensignal's January 2026 UK report, and it has a large 5G base. The report used data from 1 October to 29 December 2025. They included Reliability (915 points) and Consistent Quality (78.6%).

BT Group owns EE. In the year to 31 March 2026, BT reported an EE 5G base of 14.5 million and 5G+ population coverage of 73%, up from 43%. EE launched 5G Standalone in 2024, according to Full Fact. In July 2025 EE said Standalone 5G would reach around 50% of the UK population by the end of August 2025.

These are network results, not proxy speeds. A port's throughput also depends on where its modem sits and on your own route to our gateway.

## Which ASN do EE mobile IPs belong to?

EE mobile IPs belong to AS2856, the BT Group network labelled BT-UK-AS. Some guides still list AS12576 (EE Limited), but that ASN is not announced. PeeringDB notes that EE moved most customer traffic to AS2856.

Because AS2856 also carries BT home broadband, check the prefix as well as the ASN. RIPE names 31.90.0.0/15 "EEMobile" and 31.94.0.0/16 "EE-MOBILE". Our [ASN lookup guide](https://pontproxy.com/guides/check-proxy-asn/) shows how to run the check with RIPEstat.

### EE mobile prefixes (RIPEstat, 5 October 2026)

| Prefix | Originating ASN | RIPE network name / note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 31.90.0.0/15 | AS2856 | EEMobile |
| 31.94.0.0/16 | AS2856 | EE-MOBILE |
| 149.254.0.0/16 | AS2856 | Former T-Mobile UK range |
| — | AS12576 (EE Limited) | Registered, not announced |

## Which mobile brands use the EE network?

Several UK mobile brands run on EE rather than their own masts. Wikipedia's list of UK MVNOs (September 2026) places ten brands on EE. They are BT Mobile, 1pMobile, Lyca Mobile, Utility Warehouse, Ecotalk, Your Co-op, spusu, CMLink, CTExcel and 1GLOBAL.

Customers of these brands get IPs from EE's ranges. An EE port therefore lets you test what a BT Mobile or Lyca Mobile customer sees, too.

## Why choose an EE mobile proxy?

Choose EE when you need to see the UK mobile web as EE and BT Mobile customers see it. QA teams test apps and mobile sites as EE customers see them. Agencies check google.co.uk mobile results and UK mobile ads from an EE address. Social media managers run UK client accounts from a consistent carrier IP.

Typical legitimate reasons to pick EE over another network:

- **Reproduce EE-only issues.** Some app or checkout bugs appear on one carrier's network only.
- **Check carrier-specific pages.** Operator landing pages and billing flows can differ by network.
- **Verify UK mobile ads** shown to EE users. See [ad verification](https://pontproxy.com/use-cases/ad-verification/).
- **Geo-test mobile sites** from a real UK carrier address. See [geo-testing](https://pontproxy.com/use-cases/geo-testing/).

EE ports are not for SMS verification, account farming or ban evasion. Read our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://pontproxy.com/acceptable-use/).

> **Shared mobile IPs (CGNAT)** Posts on EE's community forum say EE's mobile network uses carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT), so subscribers share public IPv4 addresses. RFC 6598 defines 100.64.0.0/10 as the shared address space used inside carrier NAT. One EE public IP can therefore appear in sessions from unrelated customers. This is normal on mobile networks and is part of why sites treat mobile IPs with care.

## How much does an EE mobile proxy cost?

A dedicated EE port at PontProxy costs $4.50 for 1 day, $22 for 7 days or $72.75 for 30 days ($2.43/day). Traffic is unlimited, and EE is included at no surcharge.

As of October 2026, per their pricing pages, other offers differ in both price and conditions:

## EE mobile proxies: FAQ

### Which ASN does an EE mobile IP address belong to?

EE mobile IPs are announced by AS2856, the BT Group network labelled BT-UK-AS. On 5 October 2026 RIPEstat showed AS2856 originating EE prefixes 31.90.0.0/15, 31.94.0.0/16 and 149.254.0.0/16. The older AS12576, registered to EE Limited, is not announced. PeeringDB notes that EE moved most customer traffic to AS2856.

### How much does an EE mobile proxy cost?

A dedicated EE port at PontProxy costs $4.50 for one day, $22 for seven days or $72.75 for 30 days. Traffic is unlimited and choosing EE costs nothing extra. As of October 2026, CyberYozh charged $11 a day for a carrier-pinned EE port with a 10 GB daily allowance.

### Do EE mobile users share public IP addresses?

Yes. Posts on EE's community forum say the EE mobile network uses carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT). Under CGNAT, many subscribers can share one public IPv4 address at the same time. RFC 6598 reserves 100.64.0.0/10 as the shared address space used inside such carrier NAT. Your dedicated port's modem and SIM are still yours alone.

### Which mobile brands run on the EE network?

BT Mobile, 1pMobile, Lyca Mobile, Utility Warehouse, Ecotalk and Your Co-op all run on EE, according to Wikipedia's list of UK MVNOs. Their customers get IPs from EE's address ranges. An EE port therefore shows you the same carrier context as those brands' customers.

### Why pick EE instead of O2, Vodafone or Three?

Pick EE when your users or test cases are on EE or BT Mobile, or when an issue appears on EE only. EE won 11 Opensignal awards in January 2026, including Reliability. If you need O2, Vodafone or Three instead, carrier choice is included at no surcharge. Compare networks on our [UK mobile proxies](https://pontproxy.com/mobile-proxies/united-kingdom/) page.

### Do I need ID to rent an EE proxy?

No. PontProxy asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You sign in with an account number, and email is optional. You pay with Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC), and credentials appear as soon as the payment confirms. Use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.
