## Which Dutch ISPs do Netherlands residential IPs come from?

Dutch residential IPs come mainly from KPN and VodafoneZiggo, which each hold 35 to 40% of fixed broadband, per the ACM. Odido and DELTA Fiber follow.

The Dutch market is split between two access types. In Q4 2025 the ACM counted 3.64 million fibre and 3.11 million cable subscriptions, while copper fell to 1.42 million. PontProxy, a no-KYC UK & Europe residential and 4G/5G proxy provider, lets you pin any of these networks by ASN.

### Main Dutch consumer networks (ASN)

| ASN | Holder | Network type | Main brands |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| AS1136 | KPN B.V. | Fixed + mobile | KPN |
| AS33915 | Vodafone Libertel B.V. (VodafoneZiggo) | Fixed + mobile | Ziggo, Vodafone |
| AS50266 | Odido Netherlands B.V. | Fixed | Odido home internet |
| AS31615 | Odido Netherlands B.V. | Mobile | Odido |
| AS15435 | DELTA Fiber Nederland B.V. | Fixed | DELTA |

ASN holders checked in RIPEstat on 5 October 2026. See our [ASN lookup guide](https://pontproxy.com/guides/check-proxy-asn/) to test an exit IP.

## Why does Odido have two ASNs?

Odido, the former T-Mobile Netherlands, keeps home and mobile users in separate networks. The RIPE database labels AS31615 ranges as a "Pool for mobile users" and AS50266 ranges as a "Pool for fixed WBA users".

This matters when a target treats home and mobile visitors differently. If you want an Odido home-broadband IP, target AS50266. If you want the address a phone user gets, use AS31615 or a [dedicated Dutch 4G/5G port](https://pontproxy.com/mobile-proxies/netherlands/).

## What do teams use Netherlands residential IPs for?

Teams use Dutch IPs to see Dutch prices, listings and ads exactly as local visitors do. Common legitimate jobs:

- **Retail price monitoring** on Bol, Coolblue, Amazon.nl and Zalando;
- **Price-comparison research** on Tweakers Pricewatch;
- **Classifieds research** on public Marktplaats listings, such as price ranges by category;
- **Ad verification** on Dutch publishers — see [ad verification](https://pontproxy.com/use-cases/ad-verification/);
- **Localised content QA** for Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht, plus rank checks on google.nl.

Marketplace listings can include personal data. Collect only what your purpose needs, under the GDPR.

## Residential or mobile proxies in the Netherlands?

Residential IPs suit crawling, price work and SERP checks, billed per GB. Mobile IPs suit app testing and mobile ad checks.

The Netherlands has three mobile network operators: KPN, Odido and Vodafone. The ACM counted 25.8 million mobile connections in Q4 2025, with KPN and Odido each holding 25 to 30% of the market. Brands such as Simyo, Ben and hollandsnieuwe run on these networks.

A dedicated Dutch port costs $59.25 for 30 days, with unlimited traffic. See [Dutch 4G/5G mobile proxies](https://pontproxy.com/mobile-proxies/netherlands/).

## Is it legal to use a proxy in the Netherlands?

Yes. Using a proxy is legal in the Netherlands; the law governs what you do through it. Personal data falls under the GDPR and the UAVG, supervised by the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Article 138ab of the Criminal Code covers unauthorised computer access.

PontProxy blocks online banking, government portals, payment processors and outgoing email (SMTP ports 25, 465 and 587). Every account follows our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://pontproxy.com/acceptable-use/), and our [legal guide](https://pontproxy.com/guides/are-proxies-legal-uk-eu/) gives general background.

## How do I connect to a Dutch residential IP?

Connect to `gw.pontproxy.com` on port `7777` for HTTP/HTTPS or `7778` for SOCKS5. A Rotterdam IP held for 15 minutes uses the username `USERNAME-country-nl-city-rotterdam-session-r0t7e1-ttl-15`.

Without `city` you get any Dutch IP. Without `session` the IP changes on every request. The [quickstart guide](https://pontproxy.com/guides/quickstart/) has code for curl, Python and Node.js.
