DIGI launched commercially in Portugal in late 2024 and now reports together with NOWO, which it acquired. ANACOM data for the fourth quarter of 2025 gives the DIGI/NOWO group 3.3% of active mobile accesses. MEO (36.0%), NOS (31.1%) and Vodafone (27.6%) still serve most users. The three incumbents answered DIGI with low-cost brands: UZO, WOO and Amigo.

### How common is 5G in Portugal?

ANACOM reports that 42.3% of mobile accesses used the 5G network at the end of 2025, up 11.1 percentage points in one year. Another 42.3% used 4G, and 15.4% still used 2G or 3G.
