Google localises results by the searcher's location, not by the domain typed. Track rankings from residential IPs in the country and city you care about.
Quick answer
Which proxies work for local SERP tracking on google.co.uk, google.de and google.fr?
PontProxy, a no-KYC UK & Europe residential and 4G/5G proxy provider, supplies SERP tracking proxies for google.co.uk, google.de and google.fr. Google localises results by location, so you need an IP in the market itself. Choose the country, then the city: London, Manchester, Berlin, Munich, Paris or Lyon. Residential traffic costs from $0.36/GB. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Pay in crypto.
| Residential price | From $0.36/GB — residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires |
|---|---|
| KYC | None — no ID, no selfie, no documents |
| Payment | Crypto only: Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC) |
| Targeting | country, city and ISP/ASN targeting included at no extra cost |
| UK city pages | 25 cities, from London and Manchester to Aberdeen and Norwich |
| Rotation | a new IP on every request, or sticky sessions you control |
| Sticky sessions | up to 60 minutes |
| Mobile SERPs | Dedicated 4G/5G ports on EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three, from $4.50/day |
Google sets local results by the searcher's location, so the IP decides which market you see. In April 2025 Google announced that country domains such as google.co.uk would redirect to google.com. Results stay local, but the signal now comes from location, not from the domain typed.
A rank tracker in a US data centre therefore sees US-weighted results, even on a google.co.uk URL. A PontProxy residential IP in Leeds sees what a searcher in Leeds sees.
Put the code in the country parameter and a city in the city parameter. Cities are the largest in each country, from our data checked on 5 October 2026.
| Market | Google domain | Code | Largest cities |
|---|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | google.co.uk | gb | London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds |
| Germany | google.de | de | Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt |
| France | google.fr | fr | Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice |
| Netherlands | google.nl | nl | Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht |
| Spain | google.es | es | Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville |
| Italy | google.it | it | Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin |
| Poland | google.pl | pl | Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź |
| Ireland | google.ie | ie | Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway |
Write cities in lower case without spaces, for example london or munich. In Belgium, track Dutch and French results separately. If a city returns no IP, use country-level targeting.
Run the same keyword list through one city at a time and store the city with every result. Local packs, map results and "near me" queries change most between cities.
Keep the language setting constant, so a rank change comes from the city, not the language.
Use a rotating IP for single result pages and a sticky session when you read several pages of one query. A sticky session keeps one IP for up to 60 minutes.
For mobile rankings, use a dedicated UK 4G/5G port on EE, Vodafone, O2 or Three. Track mobile and desktop as separate series.
These steps connect any rank tracker or script to PontProxy. The username format is USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}.
Define markets and cities
List each market as a country code plus cities, for example gb with london and manchester, or de with berlin.
Buy residential traffic
Choose a plan on the pricing page and pay in crypto. Traffic never expires.
Build one username per city
Rotating: USERNAME-country-gb-city-manchester. Sticky: USERNAME-country-gb-city-manchester-session-kw42-ttl-10.
Enter the proxy in your tool
Host gw.pontproxy.com, port 7777 (HTTP/HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5), plus your username and password.
Verify the city, then store results
Check the exit city at https://ipinfo.io/json. Save keyword, position, URL, city, device and UTC date with every rank.
# pip install requests

Yes. Google announced in April 2025 that country domains would redirect to google.com, but results stay localised by location. A UK IP is now the main way to see UK results. With PontProxy, add -country-gb to the username, plus -city-london or another city.
PontProxy has pages for 25 UK cities, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol and Cardiff. City targeting is included in every residential plan. If a smaller city returns no IP, use the nearest large city. Each city is a separate rank series, so store the city with every result.
Yes. One PontProxy account and one traffic balance cover every European country. Use de for google.de and fr for google.fr, and add a city such as munich or lyon for local results. The price per GB is the same for every country.
Mobile IPs give the closest match to a real phone search. PontProxy dedicated 4G/5G ports run on EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three, from $4.50/day, with unlimited traffic with no daily cap. For desktop rank tracking, residential IPs are cheaper and accurate.
It depends on keywords, cities and frequency, so measure one full run first. PontProxy sells residential traffic from 1 GB for $0.95 (paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance — never expires, non-refundable). Because residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires, a larger plan does not lose unused GB at the end of a month.
No. PontProxy requires no KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. You log in with an account number, and email is optional. Payment is crypto only: Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). Delivery is instant — credentials appear as soon as your top-up confirms and you buy a plan.
Your browser adds signals that a clean proxy request does not, such as search history, signed-in accounts, language and precise location. Compare like with like: same city, same language, signed out. Then check the exit city with ipinfo before you trust the data.
