Where can I see the live status of my proxies?
In your client area. The dashboard in the client area shows the state of each service on your account. For example, it shows whether a dedicated port is provisioning or active, and how much residential traffic remains.
This page is different. It is a summary written by our team, not an automatic monitor. It records incidents that affect all customers of a component.
How are incidents announced?
We announce incidents on this page and in the changelog. Each incident gets a dated entry in the history below, with:
- the affected component;
- the start and end time in UTC;
- the impact on customers;
- the cause, when known, and the fix.
Lasting changes, such as a new gateway port or a retired plan, also go into the changelog. If you think something is down, check this page first. Then email [email protected] with the time in UTC and your test output.
How can I test the residential gateway myself?
Send one request through the gateway and check the reply. Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with the credentials from your client area. The quickstart guide explains the targeting options in the username.
# HTTP port
curl -x http://USERNAME:[email protected]:7777 https://api.ipify.org
# SOCKS5 port
curl -x socks5h://USERNAME:[email protected]:7778 https://api.ipify.org- An IP address in the reply means the gateway accepted your credentials and routed the request.
- HTTP 407 (proxy authentication required) means the username or password is wrong.
- A timeout or "connection refused" can mean an incident or a local firewall. Note the time in UTC and email support.
To confirm which network an IP belongs to, see how to check a proxy's ASN.
Has PontProxy had any recent incidents?
No. No incidents recorded since 5 October 2026.
Each future incident will appear here, newest first, with its date, the affected component, its duration in UTC and the fix.
Frequently asked questions
Does PontProxy have a live public status monitor?
Not yet. This page is a summary that our team updates by hand. It lists every component, its incident record and the full incident history since 5 October 2026. The live status of your own proxies, such as port state and remaining traffic, is shown in the dashboard of your client area at /app/.
Where do I see the status of my own proxies?
In the dashboard of your client area at /app/. It shows each service on your account, for example whether a dedicated 4G/5G port is provisioning or active, and how much residential traffic is left. If the dashboard shows a service as active but requests fail, run the test commands on this page and email support.
Why does PontProxy not publish an uptime percentage?
Because we only publish numbers we have measured. This page started on 5 October 2026, so it has no long measurement history yet. Instead of a percentage, this page gives a dated incident history that anyone can check. A short history with no recorded incident is not the same as a guaranteed uptime figure.
What should I include when I report an outage?
Send your account number, the gateway host and port, the product, and the exact time with its time zone, ideally UTC. Add the output of the test command with your password replaced by ***. Include any HTTP status code, such as 407. Email [email protected]; our standard is email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week.
Need proxies for the UK and Europe?
Residential from $0.36/GB, rotating 4G/5G from $1.50/GB. No KYC, crypto only.
