Quick answer

What is PontProxy and how does it work?

PontProxy is a UK & Europe proxy provider: residential IPs with country, city and ISP targeting, plus dedicated EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three 4G/5G ports, paid in crypto with no KYC. Residential traffic starts at $0.36/GB and never expires. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Pay in crypto, and credentials arrive as soon as the payment confirms.

How payment works

  1. Top up $25 or more

Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.

  2. Send it to the address shown, on the exact network

The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.

  3. Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”

Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how your payment is found and matched to your account automatically. Nothing else to send us.

  4. Credited after the network confirmations

Your balance is credited once the network has confirmed the transaction. Usual times:

    CryptoNetworkConfirmationsUsual time
    BTCBitcoin2≈ 20 min
    USDTTron (TRC-20)20≈ 1 min
    USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    ETHEthereum12≈ 5 min
    SOLSolana1≈ 1 min
    LTCLitecoin6≈ 15 min
  5. One balance for every product and country

If you started from a plan, it is bought automatically as soon as the top-up is credited and your proxies are delivered. What is left stays on your balance: use it for any product in any country — residential, dedicated 4G/5G ports or rotating mobile — paid instantly. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, but it is not refundable.

Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

What do PontProxy proxies cost?

How much do PontProxy residential proxies cost?

Residential proxies cost from $0.36/GB. The smallest plan is $0.95 (paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance — never expires, non-refundable) for 1 GB, 10 GB costs $5.90, and 1 TB costs $360. The price is the same in every country of the zone, and city and ISP targeting are included. Every plan is on the pricing page.

Can one top-up pay for different products and countries?

Yes. Top up once, then buy any product in any country from your balance — residential, dedicated 4G/5G ports or rotating mobile. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, but it is not refundable. Each top-up shows a unique amount, down to the last decimals. Send exactly that amount on the network shown, then click "I've sent the payment": the payment is matched to your account automatically.

How much does a dedicated 4G/5G port cost?

A dedicated UK port costs $4.50 for 1 day, $22 for 7 days or $72.75 for 30 days. Most European countries cost $59.25 for 30 days, and Poland and Ireland cost $44.25. Every port has unlimited traffic with no daily cap.

How do your prices compare with other providers?

Each plan is priced about 25% below the lowest public price we found among the main UK and EU proxy providers for UK and EU queries. For example, 10 GB costs $0.59/GB, against $0.79/GB (monthly subscription) at Geonode, checked 2026-10-05. The full table and its exceptions are on the pricing page.

Does unused traffic expire?

No. At PontProxy, residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires. You can buy a large pack and use it over several months without losing anything. Dedicated 4G/5G ports are different, because you buy time: a port runs for the period you choose, with unlimited traffic during that period.

Will support ever ask for my account number?

We never ask for your account number by email or chat. Your account number is your login. Support only needs your order ID. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, at [email protected].

Can I get my unused balance back?

Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, but it is not refundable. You can spend it on any plan at any time. Eligible plan refunds are credited back to your balance; see the refund policy. The minimum top-up is $25.

KYC and privacy

Do I need to verify my identity?

No. PontProxy never asks for a passport, ID card, driving licence, selfie or company document. You do not need a company email either. This is a deliberate choice based on data minimisation, not a loophole. Every account still follows our Acceptable Use Policy.

Why does PontProxy not ask for ID?

Because a proxy service does not need it. The GDPR says personal data must be "adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary" (Article 5(1)(c)), and the UK GDPR has the same rule. We need to know which account bought which traffic, not who you are. Stored ID copies are also a leak risk.

Do I need an email address?

No. PontProxy uses account-number login — email optional. Your account number is your login, so store it safely. You can add an email if you want one on file. Buying, paying and connecting all work without one. If you lose your account number, we cannot verify you by ID, so keep a backup.

What data does PontProxy keep?

We keep the minimum needed to run the service: account number, order history, payment records and per-day traffic totals; connection metadata (timestamp, target domain, bytes) kept 7 days for abuse handling, then deleted. We do not collect names, postal addresses or ID documents. Full details and retention periods are in our privacy policy.

Payment

Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). Payment is crypto only, so there is no card form and no billing address. Coin-by-coin details are on proxies paid in crypto.

Can I pay by card, PayPal or bank transfer?

No. PontProxy accepts crypto only. This means we hold no card or bank details, and there are no chargebacks to manage. If you do not hold crypto yet, buy a supported coin from an exchange first, then pay the checkout address. No KYC is required on our side.

How fast are proxies delivered after payment?

Delivery is instant — credentials appear as soon as your top-up confirms and you buy a plan. The time depends on the coin: Solana and Litecoin usually confirm faster than Bitcoin. Your credentials and gateway details then appear in your account. Setup takes a few minutes with the quickstart guide.

Setup and targeting

How do I connect to the proxy?

Use the gateway gw.pontproxy.com on port 7777 for HTTP and HTTPS, or port 7778 for SOCKS5. Log in with the username and password from your account. Add targeting parameters to the username. The quickstart guide has samples for curl, Python, Node.js, Scrapy and Playwright.

How do I target a country or a city?

Add parameters to your proxy username. The format is USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}. For example, country-gb-city-london gives a London IP, and country-de gives any German IP. Use two-letter country codes and lower-case city names without spaces. Every plan has country, city and ISP/ASN targeting included at no extra cost.

Which protocols are supported?

PontProxy supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The same credentials work on both gateway ports. For SOCKS5, use socks5h in most tools so that DNS lookups happen at the exit IP. That way the site sees a consistent location for both DNS and traffic.

What is the difference between rotating and sticky sessions?

PontProxy offers a new IP on every request, or sticky sessions you control. With rotation, each request can use a new residential IP. With a sticky session, you add a session ID and keep one IP up to 60 minutes. Use rotating sessions for large scraping jobs and sticky sessions for multi-step flows on test accounts.

How can I check which ISP or ASN my exit IP belongs to?

Request https://ipinfo.io/json through the proxy and read the org field. It starts with the ASN, for example AS2856 for BT or AS5089 for Virgin Media. You can confirm the holder on RIPEstat. Our ASN lookup guide explains every step, including how to spot a mobile or data-centre range.

Mobile ports

Which UK mobile networks can I choose?

You can choose EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three, with carrier choice included at no surcharge. EE mobile IPs are announced by AS2856, the BT network. Vodafone UK mobile uses AS25135, O2 uses AS35228 and AS29180, and Three uses AS206067 and AS60339 (RIPEstat, 5 October 2026).

How do I change the IP on a mobile port?

You get a new IP on demand by link or API, or automatically on a timer. The rotation link format is https://pontproxy.com/api/v1/mobile/{port}/rotate?key=API_KEY. Replace the port number and your API key. The port stays on the same carrier and country after each change. Samples are in the quickstart guide.

Is a dedicated port shared with other users?

No. A dedicated port is one modem with one SIM card, used only by your account for the period you buy. Rotating mobile IPs, billed per GB, come from a shared pool instead. Both are on the 4G/5G mobile proxies page.

Legality and acceptable use

Using a proxy is generally legal in the UK and the EU. The law regulates what you do through it, for example under data-protection rules and the Computer Misuse Act 1990. This is general information, not legal advice. Read our guide to proxy legality in the UK and EU.

What can I use PontProxy proxies for?

Legitimate uses include public-data web scraping, SEO and SERP tracking, price monitoring and ad verification. Brand protection, market research, social media management for agencies and geo-testing of websites and apps are also allowed. See our use cases, such as price monitoring and SERP tracking.

What is not allowed?

Fraud, carding, account takeover, credential stuffing, spam, DDoS, ticket or sneaker bots, bonus abuse and evading bans are prohibited. We also block online banking, government portals, payment processors and outgoing email (SMTP ports 25, 465 and 587). Confirmed abuse leads to termination without refund. Read the full Acceptable Use Policy.

How do I report abuse from a PontProxy IP?

Email [email protected] with the IP address, the timestamp with time zone, and the target. We review every report within 24 hours. Reports need no account. Confirmed abuse leads to termination without refund. Other contact options are on the contact page.

Where do your residential IPs come from?

We resell established partner networks that meet our sourcing standard, including end-user consent with an opt-out. We do not name suppliers. The standard has five points, including permission to resell. The standard and what we verify are described on our sourcing page.

Refunds and support

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within clear limits: unused residential or rotating-mobile traffic credited back to your balance within 7 days of purchase; a dedicated port that does not work as described credited back within 24 hours; balance itself is never refunded. Refunds are paid in crypto and need no identity documents. Accounts terminated for abuse are not refunded. Read the full refund policy before you buy a large plan.

How do I pay — do I top up a balance?

Yes. You top up your PontProxy balance in crypto (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC), then buy any plan from it. The minimum top-up is $25. Unused balance stays on your account, so a small plan such as 1 GB for $0.95 leaves the rest available for later plans. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents.

What is the minimum top-up?

The minimum top-up is $25, paid in Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, so you can split it across residential, rotating mobile and dedicated port plans. Network fees depend on the coin; USDT on TRC-20, Solana and Litecoin are usually cheapest.

How can I test before buying a large plan?

Start small. The smallest residential plan is $0.95 (paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance — never expires, non-refundable) for 1 GB, and a UK 4G/5G port costs $4.50 for 1 day. Both are enough to test your targets, protocols and city targeting, and unused residential traffic never expires. Refunds follow the refund policy.

How do I contact support?

Email [email protected]. We offer email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week. Include your account number, but never your password. Service status is on the status page, and every change to the service is on the changelog.
