Which ASN carries Free Mobile traffic?
Free Mobile uses its own ASN, AS51207 (FREEM, Free Mobile SAS), separate from Free's AS12322 (PROXAD). On 5 October 2026 RIPEstat showed AS51207 announcing 37.160.0.0/12, 78.240.0.0/13, 37.8.160.0/19 and 37.1.232.0/21. However, RIPE assigns 37.160.0.0/14 to Iliad Italia as a mobile users block, routed via AS29447. Those IPs are not Free Mobile France addresses.
Does Free Mobile offer 5G Standalone?
Yes. On 18 September 2024 Free Mobile said it was the first French operator to launch nationwide 5G Standalone, on its 3.5 GHz network. The launch included Voice over New Radio (VoNR), according to RCR Wireless. ANFR lists Free Mobile among the operators with authorised 5G sites in the 700 MHz, 2100 MHz and 3.5 GHz bands.
