Which cities can I target in Croatia?

You can target Croatia as a whole or one city at a time. The main locations are Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Zadar, Velika Gorica, Pula, Slavonski Brod, Karlovac, Varaždin. Country and city targeting are included in every plan at no extra cost.

To pick a city, add it to your proxy username in lower case, without spaces: country-hr selects Croatia, then -city- plus the city name narrows the exit IP to that city.

Which ISPs do Croatia residential IPs come from?

Residential IPs are addresses that home broadband providers assign to their subscribers. In Croatia the main fixed-line ISPs are Hrvatski Telekom, A1 Hrvatska, Telemach, Terrakom.

Hrvatski Telekom leads fixed broadband, followed by A1 and Telemach, which now holds the former Optima Telekom network. Median fixed download was 93 Mbps in August 2026.

You can pin an ISP or ASN with ISP targeting, included in every PontProxy plan.

What are Croatia residential proxies used for?

Croatian IPs show local Google results, classifieds on Njuškalo and prices on Nabava.net and Links.hr. They also help verify ads and localised content shown to Croatian visitors.

Typical legitimate jobs with a Croatia IP:

  • checking local search results on google.hr;
  • monitoring prices and stock on Njuškalo, Links.hr, Instar, eKupi;
  • verifying that ads and affiliate links display correctly to visitors in Croatia;
  • testing websites and apps from a real Croatia connection.

See our guides to price monitoring, SERP tracking and geo-testing.

Residential or mobile proxies in Croatia?

Residential IPs suit most scraping, SERP and price work and are billed per GB. Mobile IPs come from SIM cards on Hrvatski Telekom, A1, Telemach and suit app testing and mobile ad checks.

Croatia has three MNOs: Hrvatski Telekom, A1 and Telemach. Hrvatski Telekom reported 2.52 million mobile subscribers in Q1 2026, the largest base.

How do I connect to a Croatia residential IP?

Use host gw.pontproxy.com on port 7777 for HTTP/HTTPS or 7778 for SOCKS5. Build the username like this: USERNAME-country-hr-session-a1b2c3-ttl-30.

  • Drop the session part to get a new IP on every request.
  • Keep the same session value to hold one IP for up to the ttl in minutes.

Croatia residential proxies: FAQ

Which networks host Croatian brands like bonbon and Tomato?

bonbon is a Hrvatski Telekom brand and Tomato is an A1 brand, so both use their parent's mobile network. Telemach, formerly Tele2 Croatia, runs the third network. Hrvatski Telekom is the largest, with 2.52 million mobile subscribers in Q1 2026. Each operator has its own ASNs, for example AS5391 for Hrvatski Telekom.

What happened to Optima Telekom and Iskon?

RIPE records show that AS34594, the former Optima Telekom network, is now registered to Telemach Hrvatska. Telemach therefore runs both mobile (former Tele2) and fixed services in Croatia. Iskon's former ASN, AS13046, is now registered to Hrvatski Telekom. These changes matter when filtering Croatian traffic by ASN or ISP name.

How much do Croatia residential proxies cost?

Croatia residential proxies cost from $0.36/GB at PontProxy. The 1 GB plan costs $0.95 (paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance — never expires, non-refundable) and 10 GB costs $5.90. The price is the same in every European country and includes city and ISP targeting. Unused traffic never expires, so you only pay for what you use.

Do I need to verify my identity to buy Croatia proxies?

No. PontProxy asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You sign in with an account number and an email is optional. This follows the GDPR principle of data minimisation: we only keep what we need to run the service. Use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.

Which cryptocurrencies can I use to pay?

You can pay in Bitcoin, USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20), USDC, Ethereum, Litecoin or Solana. USDT on TRC-20, Solana and Litecoin keep network fees low for small plans. Credentials appear in your client area as soon as the payment confirms.

Can I keep the same Croatia IP for a whole session?

Yes. Add a session ID to your username and the gateway keeps the same Croatia exit IP up to 60 minutes. Without a session ID you get a new IP on every request, which suits large crawls. Both modes work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5.
