Which cities can I target in Cyprus?

You can target Cyprus as a whole or one city at a time. The main locations are Nicosia, Limassol, Strovolos, Larnaca, Lakatamia, Agios Athanasios, Paphos, Paralimni. Country and city targeting are included in every plan at no extra cost.

To pick a city, add it to your proxy username in lower case, without spaces: country-cy selects Cyprus, then -city- plus the city name narrows the exit IP to that city.

Which ISPs do Cyprus residential IPs come from?

Residential IPs are addresses that home broadband providers assign to their subscribers. In Cyprus the main fixed-line ISPs are Cyta, Cablenet, PrimeTel, Epic.

Cyta, Cablenet, PrimeTel and Epic sell fixed broadband. Fibre made up 72.8% of fixed broadband subscriptions in 2025 (OCECPR).

You can pin an ISP or ASN with ISP targeting, included in every PontProxy plan.

What are Cyprus residential proxies used for?

Cypriot IPs show local google.com.cy results in Greek or English and prices on Bazaraki and Skroutz.cy. They also help test apps and ads for the Cypriot market.

Typical legitimate jobs with a Cyprus IP:

  • checking local search results on google.com.cy;
  • monitoring prices and stock on Bazaraki, Skroutz.cy, Public.cy, Stephanis;
  • verifying that ads and affiliate links display correctly to visitors in Cyprus;
  • testing websites and apps from a real Cyprus connection.

See our guides to price monitoring, SERP tracking and geo-testing.

Residential or mobile proxies in Cyprus?

Residential IPs suit most scraping, SERP and price work and are billed per GB. Mobile IPs come from SIM cards on Cyta, Epic, PrimeTel, Cablenet and suit app testing and mobile ad checks.

Cyprus has four mobile networks. At the end of 2025, Cyta held 52.1% of the mobile market, Epic 26.6%, and PrimeTel and Cablenet 10.6% each (OCECPR).

How do I connect to a Cyprus residential IP?

  • Drop the session part to get a new IP on every request.
  • Keep the same session value to hold one IP for up to the ttl in minutes.

Cyprus residential proxies: FAQ

Do Cyprus proxies cover the north of the island?

The four networks listed here, Cyta, Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet, serve the areas controlled by the Republic of Cyprus. Northern Cyprus has separate mobile operators: Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell and KKTC Telsim, which trades under the Vodafone brand. The cities on this page are all in Republic-controlled areas. Check an IP's geolocation if the north matters for your project.

Does the GDPR apply to work with Cyprus IPs?

Yes. Cyprus has been an EU member since 2004, so the GDPR applies together with national Law 125(I)/2018. The Commissioner for Personal Data Protection supervises compliance. For scraping or monitoring projects, the usual GDPR principles apply, such as data minimisation and a lawful basis for any personal data you collect. Telecom markets are regulated separately by OCECPR.

How much do Cyprus residential proxies cost?

Cyprus residential proxies cost from $0.36/GB at PontProxy. The 1 GB plan costs $0.95 (paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance — never expires, non-refundable) and 10 GB costs $5.90. The price is the same in every European country and includes city and ISP targeting. Unused traffic never expires, so you only pay for what you use.

Do I need to verify my identity to buy Cyprus proxies?

No. PontProxy asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You sign in with an account number and an email is optional. This follows the GDPR principle of data minimisation: we only keep what we need to run the service. Use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.

Which cryptocurrencies can I use to pay?

You can pay in Bitcoin, USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20), USDC, Ethereum, Litecoin or Solana. USDT on TRC-20, Solana and Litecoin keep network fees low for small plans. Credentials appear in your client area as soon as the payment confirms.

Can I keep the same Cyprus IP for a whole session?

Yes. Add a session ID to your username and the gateway keeps the same Cyprus exit IP up to 60 minutes. Without a session ID you get a new IP on every request, which suits large crawls. Both modes work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5.
