Which cities can I target in Monaco?

You can target Monaco as a whole or one city at a time. The main locations are Monte Carlo, La Condamine, Fontvieille, Monaco-Ville, Larvotto, La Rousse, Moneghetti, Jardin Exotique. Country and city targeting are included in every plan at no extra cost.

To pick a city, add it to your proxy username in lower case, without spaces: country-mc selects Monaco, then -city- plus the city name narrows the exit IP to that city.

Which ISPs do Monaco residential IPs come from?

Residential IPs are addresses that home broadband providers assign to their subscribers. In Monaco the main fixed-line ISPs are Monaco Telecom.

Monaco Telecom holds the State concession for fixed telephony, internet access and TV. Fibre has covered the whole territory since 2021, and no resident has used copper internet since 31 January 2024.

You can pin an ISP or ASN with ISP targeting, included in every PontProxy plan.

What are Monaco residential proxies used for?

Teams use Monaco IPs to test sites that treat Monaco (country code MC) differently from France for content, shipping or tax rules. Monaco has no google.mc domain or local Amazon store, so French sites are usually checked.

Typical legitimate jobs with a Monaco IP:

  • checking local search results on google.com;
  • monitoring prices and stock on Amazon.fr, Cdiscount, Fnac, Leboncoin;
  • verifying that ads and affiliate links display correctly to visitors in Monaco;
  • testing websites and apps from a real Monaco connection.

Residential or mobile proxies in Monaco?

Residential IPs suit most scraping, SERP and price work and are billed per GB. Mobile IPs come from SIM cards on Monaco Telecom and suit app testing and mobile ad checks.

Monaco Telecom is the only mobile network operator in Monaco (MCC 212). It launched commercial 5G in July 2019. NJJ, the holding of Xavier Niel, bought 55% of the company in 2014.

Monaco residential proxies: FAQ

Which network serves Monaco?

Monaco Telecom is the only mobile network operator in Monaco, under mobile country code 212. It launched commercial 5G in July 2019. It also holds the State concession for fixed internet, and fibre has covered the whole principality since 2021. As a result, residential and mobile IPs located in Monaco come from a single operator.

Which data-protection law applies in Monaco?

Monaco is in neither the EU nor the EEA, so the GDPR is not its national law. The main law is Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on personal data protection. It is supervised by the APDP (Autorité de Protection des Données Personnelles), which replaced the former CCIN. Organisations established in the EU remain subject to the GDPR for their own processing.

How much do Monaco residential proxies cost?

Monaco residential proxies cost from $0.36/GB at PontProxy. The 1 GB plan costs $0.95 (paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance — never expires, non-refundable) and 10 GB costs $5.90. The price is the same in every European country and includes city and ISP targeting. Unused traffic never expires, so you only pay for what you use.

Do I need to verify my identity to buy Monaco proxies?

No. PontProxy asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You sign in with an account number and an email is optional. This follows the GDPR principle of data minimisation: we only keep what we need to run the service. Use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.

Which cryptocurrencies can I use to pay?

You can pay in Bitcoin, USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20), USDC, Ethereum, Litecoin or Solana. USDT on TRC-20, Solana and Litecoin keep network fees low for small plans. Credentials appear in your client area as soon as the payment confirms.

Can I keep the same Monaco IP for a whole session?

Yes. Add a session ID to your username and the gateway keeps the same Monaco exit IP up to 60 minutes. Without a session ID you get a new IP on every request, which suits large crawls. Both modes work over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5.
