Which mobile networks can I use in Greece?

Mobile IPs in Greece come from SIM cards on Telekom, Vodafone, Nova. Greece has three mobile networks: Telekom (OTE group, formerly Cosmote), Vodafone and Nova. OTE reported 7.1 million mobile subscribers in Greece on 30 June 2026.

Well-known brands and MVNOs that run on these networks include Orizon (Vodafone network). A mobile IP from any of them belongs to the address ranges of its host network.

Why do websites trust mobile IPs?

Mobile networks share a small pool of public IPv4 addresses between many subscribers through carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT, RFC 6598). One mobile IP can therefore carry traffic from many real phones at once.

Websites know this, so they rarely block a mobile IP outright. This is a mechanism, not a guarantee: behaviour that breaks a site's rules still gets flagged. Learn how to check an exit IP in our ASN lookup guide.

What are Greece mobile proxies used for?

Greek IPs show local google.gr results and prices on Skroutz, Public and Kotsovolos. They help verify Greek-language ads and test apps on local mobile networks.

With a mobile IP in Greece, teams typically:

  • test apps and mobile checkouts as customers on Telekom, Vodafone see them;
  • verify mobile ads and app-install campaigns shown in Greece;
  • track mobile search results on google.gr;
  • manage brand and client social media accounts from a stable local IP.

See social media management and ad verification.

How do I change the IP of a Greece mobile port?

Each dedicated port has its own rotation link. Call it and the modem reconnects to the carrier, which usually assigns a new IP within seconds:

https://pontproxy.com/api/v1/mobile/{port}/rotate?key=API_KEY

Replace {port} with your port number and API_KEY with your key from the client area. You can also set an automatic rotation timer. Connection details for HTTP and SOCKS5 are in the quickstart guide.

Using a proxy is legal in Greece; what matters is what you do through it. Personal data falls under the GDPR and Law 4624/2019, supervised by the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA), while ADAE oversees communications privacy.

PontProxy blocks online banking, government portals, payment processors and outgoing email (SMTP ports 25, 465 and 587), and every account follows our Acceptable Use Policy. Mobile ports are not for SMS verification, account farming or ban evasion.

Greece mobile proxies: FAQ

Why do Greek phones now show Telekom instead of Cosmote?

OTE group replaced the Cosmote Telekom brand with Telekom in September 2026, and the switch culminated on 8 September. Phones now show TELEKOM.GR as the network name, and Cosmote 5G became Telekom 5G. The network itself did not change. In RIPE data the mobile ASN AS29247 is still named COSMOTE-GR and is registered to OTE.

How good is 5G coverage in Greece?

OTE reported 5G population coverage above 99% on 30 June 2026, with 5G standalone coverage of about 84%. Vodafone and Nova also run 5G NR networks, according to the operator list on Wikipedia. OTE counted 7.1 million mobile subscribers in Greece at that date, 3.15 million of them postpaid.

How much does a Greece 4G mobile proxy cost?

A dedicated Greece 4G/5G port costs $4.50 for one day, $18 for seven days or $59.25 for 30 days at PontProxy, with unlimited traffic. Rotating mobile IPs cost from $1.50/GB and the traffic never expires. All prices are paid in crypto.

Can I choose the carrier for my Greece mobile proxy?

Yes, carrier choice is included at no surcharge when the network is in stock. In Greece the networks are Telekom, Vodafone, Nova. Pick the carrier at checkout or in the client area. If a carrier is out of stock, we tell you before you pay.

Do I need ID to rent a Greece mobile proxy?

No. PontProxy asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You sign in with an account number and an email is optional. You pay in Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. Use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.

Dedicated port or rotating mobile: which should I pick?

Pick a dedicated port when you need unlimited traffic, a stable modem and control over when the IP changes. Pick rotating mobile per GB for light or bursty jobs, because you only pay for traffic and it never expires. Both use real Greece carrier IPs.
